About the role
 
As an Alumni & Philanthropy Communications Officer, you will provide proactive support for UCL’s alumni and supporter communications and help to design, deliver and measure the results of engaging content across a range of strategic priorities and channels.
You will play an important part in preparations for and delivery of our next philanthropic campaign (launching in February 2026), working with a range of stakeholders to demonstrate, celebrate and enhance the impact of UCL as it begins its third century.
Please note this position is fixed-term and open-ended.
We are happy to consider applications to work on a part-time, flexible and job share basis wherever possible (minimum 0.X FTE – equivalent of 4 days per week, stated salary to be pro-rata).
This role is eligible for hybrid working with a minimum of20%on site. Please note Tuesdays are our in-office anchor day for all Advancement members.

About you
 
The successful applicant will possess excellent written communication and digital skills, with the ability to create and tailor content and identify the right platforms to reach different audiences.
You will have experience of copywriting and editing, conducting and recording interviews, and adapting content for a range of channels, including but not limited to print publications, social media, email and web.
In this role, you will often be required to work independently, proactively, and as part of a team, taking a flexible approach to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
