Assistant Vice President for Advancement, OU Health Campus
Bryant Group continues a partnership with the University of Oklahoma Foundation in the search for an accomplished, strategic and collaborative fundraising leader to serve as Assistant Vice President for Advancement (AVP) for the OU Health Campus. This is a pivotal opportunity to shape and elevate philanthropic impact across the University’s health-related colleges while advancing OU’s mission to improve lives through education, research and patient care. Reporting to the Vice President and Chief Advancement Officer, this leadership role combines strategic oversight of a comprehensive advancement operation with hands-on principal gift work.
The AVP will oversee advancement activities for the Health Campus, including seven health professional colleges and related units, while managing a personal portfolio of principal-level donors. In collaboration with colleagues across Annual Giving & Alumni Engagement, Principal & Planned Giving, Corporate & Foundation Relations and other advancement units, the AVP will ensure a unified, data-informed and mission-driven approach to philanthropy. Working closely with the Senior Vice President and Provost for the Health Campus, the AVP will engage deans, faculty, alumni and donors to identify funding priorities, craft compelling cases for support and drive success in philanthropy. The AVP will also serve as a key liaison between the Foundation and Health Campus leadership to ensure alignment, transparency and shared accountability for philanthropic results.
The ideal candidate is an entrepreneurial, metrics-minded advancement professional with deep experience in academic health systems and complex fundraising environments. They bring a record of securing major and transformational gifts, managing campaigns, inspiring high-performing teams and the demonstrated ability to develop consensus across diverse stakeholders.
