Assistant Vice President, Marketing and Communications
Bryant Group continues a partnership with the University of Oklahoma Foundation in the search for a dynamic and strategic marketing leader to serve as Assistant Vice President (AVP) for Marketing & Communications. Reporting to the Senior Assistant Vice President for Advancement & Campaigns, this senior leadership role is responsible for shaping and advancing the Foundation’s brand, ensuring a unified voice and visual identity that reflect the University’s values and inspire engagement among alumni, donors and partners. The AVP will play a key role in driving philanthropic momentum and audience engagement through innovative mission-driven storytelling and digital strategy.
As a member of the Foundation’s extended leadership team, the AVP will direct two verticals - Strategic Communications & Brand Management and Digital Marketing & Engagement - to deliver a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy aligned with fundraising, alumni engagement and campaign goals. Acting as the Foundation’s chief brand strategist and marketing thought partner, this leader will collaborate with University Marketing and Communications, Advancement leaders and campus partners to ensure alignment and measurable impact across all channels. The AVP will guide the creation of compelling content that showcases donor impact and institutional priorities while directing digital marketing efforts including web strategy, email campaigns, SEO/SEM and analytics to enhance visibility and engagement through data-driven insights and actionable strategies.
This role combines strategic vision with hands-on leadership, offering the opportunity to shape compelling narratives, drive meaningful donor engagement and elevate the Foundation's brand in support of ambitious campaign goals. The ideal candidate is an experienced marketing professional with a proven record of building and leading integrated marketing and communications programs. They bring expertise in brand strategy, digital marketing, content creation and stakeholder collaboration as well as exceptional writing and storytelling ability.
