Aspen Leadership Group is proud to partner with The University of West Alabama in the search for a Vice President for Institutional Advancement.
Reporting to the University President, the Vice President for Institutional Advancement will be responsible for leading and managing the University's comprehensive philanthropy efforts, including fundraising, donor relations, alumni engagement, the UWA Foundation and strategic philanthropy partnerships. This position will work collaboratively with university leadership, faculty, staff, and external stakeholders to enhance philanthropic support and advance the institution's mission. This position will also serve as the Executive Director to the UWA Foundation and manage the partnership with the UWA Foundation in its role as a Direct Support Organization (DSO) to The University of West Alabama. In the role of Executive Director to the UWA Foundation, the position will also serve as Executive Secretary to the UWA Foundation, as defined by the UWA Foundation bylaws.

A bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least five years of experience in advancement, fundraising, or a related field is required for this position. A master's degree and/or CFRE certification, along with experience in higher education advancement, is preferred. The salary range for this position is $140,000 to $160,000 annually.
