Established by Congress, the CDC Foundation helps the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) do more, faster, by forging public-private partnerships to support CDC’s 24/7 work to save lives and protect people from health and safety threats. Entrepreneurial and innovative in its pursuit of public-private partnerships, the CDC Foundation brings together a diverse range of partners to work alongside CDC to achieve common goals. The CDC Foundation is the sole entity to raise private funds in support of the mission and work of CDC. The CDC Foundation annually manages more than 300 CDC-led programs in the United States and in 73 countries around the world.
