Company Overview
The University of Missouri is in the planning stages of a major fundraising initiative, keying off the success of our $1 billion campaign (2000-2008). MU has a fully-developed fundraising program, which operates under experienced University leadership. The University is the state’s flagship campus (in excess of 33,000 students) and has the benefit of schools of medicine, veterinary medicine, engineering, law, journalism, nursing, business, health professions, and arts and science on one campus. We also have a health system which includes University Hospital, Women’s and Children’s Hospital, Thompson Center for Autism and Neurodevelopmental Disorders, and Ellis Fischel Cancer Center. In addition, the University takes pride in over 100 years of AAU membership with MU’s hallmark collaborative research center, the Bond Life Sciences Center, and the nation’s most powerful university research reactor. As an added bonus, Columbia is a great place to live, work and raise a family. Real estate is affordable, the schools are very good, recreational opportunities are excellent and the city (just over 100,000) has a nice, Midwestern vibe.
