Assistant Dean of Development, College of Business
Bryant Group is proud to continue its partnership with the University of Texas at Arlington in the search for a dynamic and strategic Assistant Dean of Development for the College of Business.
The Assistant Dean of Development serves as the College of Business's chief development officer, responsible for securing leadership and principal gifts and significantly expanding the College's fundraising capacity. This role leads the design and execution of comprehensive fundraising and alumni engagement strategies, working closely with the Dean, academic leadership, University Advancement leadership and the College's advisory board.
This position also plays a central leadership role within the College, representing University Advancement on the College leadership team and collaborating across central and school-based development units. The Assistant Dean manages and grows a high-performing team, oversees major fundraising initiatives and builds visibility for the College through strategic communications and donor engagement.
The ideal candidate is an experienced major and principal gifts fundraiser with a strong record of securing six- and seven-figure commitments and managing complex donor relationships. They will bring exceptional communication skills, a strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a metrics-driven environment. Experience in higher education, managing volunteers, leading teams and contributing to capital or comprehensive campaigns is preferred.
