Description
Valencia College is hiring a Director, Individual & Planned Giving to join the Foundation team. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic fundraising leader to help shape and grow the college's individual and planned giving program while advancing the mission of the college through philanthropy.
In this position, the Director, Individual & Planned Giving will lead the development and execution of a comprehensive fundraising strategy that supports institutional priorities, including student scholarships, endowed faculty chairs, academic program support, capital projects, and special initiatives benefiting students, faculty, and the community.
The Director oversees all aspects of Individual and Planned Giving, including annual giving, alumni relations, leadership annual giving, major and planned gifts, philanthropy programs, and donor outreach, while partnering closely with the Chief Advancement Officer to expand philanthropic support and achieve the Foundation's fundraising goals.

The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Three to five years of progressively responsible fundraising experience in higher education or a comparable nonprofit organization.
- Experience securing leadership and major gifts and developing and executing capital, major gift, or comprehensive fundraising campaigns.
- Experience managing, coaching, and motivating fundraising teams to achieve strategic goals.
- Knowledge of philanthropic principles, fundraising strategies and donor stewardship.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to lead multiple initiatives and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

Salary: $85,000–$105,000
