Executive Director of Development
Bryant Group is proud to partner with Midwestern State University in the search for a strategic and relationship-driven development professional to serve as Executive Director of Development. This role sits within the Office of University Advancement, which works to expand MSU Texas's philanthropic capacity and strengthen connections between the university and its alumni and friends across North Texas and beyond.
Reporting directly to the Vice President for University Advancement, the Executive Director will share responsibility for setting philanthropic goals and priorities that support MSU Texas's mission of academic excellence, personal growth and lifelong learning. This senior frontline fundraiser will develop and manage an active portfolio of donors and prospective donors, cultivating and soliciting gifts of $25,000 and above, while providing mentorship and leadership to a growing team of major gift officers as the division executes an expansion plan currently underway.
The ideal candidate brings a bachelor's degree (master's preferred) and at least five years of fundraising experience, with preference for experience in education or a related nonprofit environment. Success in this role requires a collaborative spirit, strategic thinking around donor engagement and a genuine passion for the mission and community of MSU Texas.
