In partnership with Lindauer, Gustavus Adolphus College is seeking a visionary and strategic leader to serve as its next Vice President for Advancement. Gustavus is entering a defining chapter shaped by new presidential leadership, a recently launched strategic plan, and the upcoming public phase of a historic $300 million comprehensive campaign.
As a key member of the President's cabinet, the Vice President for Advancement will lead a comprehensive advancement enterprise that supports the College's long-term sustainability, expands philanthropic engagement, and strengthens Gustavus's national visibility.
- Lead and execute a comprehensive multi-year advancement strategy aligned with institutional priorities and campaign goals.
- Partner closely with the President and Board of Trustees to cultivate, solicit, and steward major and principal gift donors.
- Drive philanthropic revenue growth across annual giving, major gifts, planned giving, corporate and foundation relations, and campaign strategy.
- Build, mentor, and empower a collaborative advancement team focused on accountability, innovation, and measurable outcomes.
- Strengthen alumni engagement and expand long-term donor relationships that advance Gustavus's mission and strategic vision.
- A nationally recognized liberal arts college entering a transformative period under new presidential leadership and a bold strategic vision.

The salary range for this position is $195,000–$230,000.
